The Mist called LOVE!!!

She was cute and smart
She was "The One" with a golden heart
She was intelligent and bright
Always dreamt of a shining armored knight

When she laughed the world would smile
She had a wild heart but she kept it docile
She was a cute lil' leftie full of class
She had guts of steel and a soul of glass

She chased her dreams and held them in her fist
And as she stepped closer she was surrounded in mist
A "Kiddo" came along and saw her pretty face
His heart skipped a beat and breath picked up pace

He asked her if she would be his?
She giggled with a blush and gave him a kiss
She called him the "Hulk" 'coz he had to fight his inner demons to survive
She was his Lifesaver while he was too naive!!!

She was his "PRINCESS", sweet and bold
He wanted to be with her and together grow old
She asked if he will win over her Dad?
"Oh Yes" he said with the barbarian heart he had

As they walked hand in hand their paths came to a bend
One way was their burning love whilst her happiness was at the opposite end
The boy was in a fix on what to ask
His words choked and speaking became a task

What will he say??
What will he pray??
"Leave your dreams and live in mine... "
"Leave your ambitions and soul divine?"

"You were my princess now be my wife
I will go out for a hunt and you stay back for a life?"
It was too much to ask from her pretty soul
She is who she is because of her dreams and goal

"We have to part now" is what he said
But in his heart he profusely bled
She was innocent and would come with him, he knew
But he was barbarian with a heart...one of the very few

Days have crossed, years have gone by
The only thing they say to each other now is "Hi"
He keeps mum even though he has thousand things to tell
The fact that she won't be in his arms burns him like HELL

He knew he had to keep his heart strong
To choose the harder right instead of the easier wrong
They parted ways in the direction their ambitions drove
He will never feel the mist again
That mist called LOVE!
